Hi, friend. Introductions make me nervous, but I’ll do my best in the hopes that you’ll like what I have to say and stick around a while.
I’ve been married to my cowboy for almost seven years, and together we have two beautiful babies: Royce (3.5) and Maggie (1.5). He works on a ranch, I work from home, and together we struggle like crazy to make the dream of our own ranch come to fruition. In pre-dawn darkness and twilight hours you can find us caring for our own herd of Black Angus cows.
While my journey to motherhood was quick and (relatively) easy, my experience in mothering has been anything but. So that’s why I’m here. Weeding through the hard stuff to find hope, and joy, and grace.
I love coffee, used books, leftovers for dinner, running outside, and the sound of a crackling fire. I am at my best in the mountains, and hear God’s voice most when I’m in motion. I believe that words are a gift, that vulnerability is powerful, and that you can never have too many girlfriends.
It is my goal to write personal stories that make other women feel less alone. I want to “go first,” and hope that my vulnerability will create a safe space for you to be vulnerable, too.
Thanks for stopping by,
